Ethan's 2020 NFL Mock Draft
Here is my 2020 NFL mock draft based on my own research, as well as data from other mock drafts like Daniel Jeremiah's and Pete Priscos.
(Does not include mock trades.)
1. Joe Burrow, LSU QB - Cincinnati Bengals
Joe Burrow had in my opinion the best college football season of all time by a QB this year with LSU with 5,671 yards passed for and 60 TDs. He also had a 76.3 completion percentage in leading LSU to a win vs. Clemson in the National Championship game.
2. Chase Young, Ohio St. EDGE - Washington Redskins
Chase Young had an amazing season with 16.5 sacks, 6 fumbles forced, and 3 passes defended and the Redskins have not that good of a D-Line and Chase Young could be a big factor in changing that.
3. Jeff Okudah, Ohio St. CB - Detroit Lions
Jeff Okudah had a great season with 3 interceptions and 9 passes defended. I also think the Lions could use a great CB like him because they need somebody to go across from Justin Coleman and with Darius Slay gone, the Lions could really use somebody like him.
4. Isiah Simmons, Clemson LB/DB - New York Giants
The Giants still have pretty good linebackers but they can't pass up this good of an opportunity in Isiah Simmons, he had 7 sacks with 67 solo tackles and 3 interceptions.
5. Justin Herbert, Oregon QB - Miami Dolphins
Tua is higher on my rankings but this is about what the teams will do, and I think that Miami will go for Herbert because he has good size (6-6 237 lbs.) and threw for 3,471 yards with 38 TDs and will be their next signal caller.
6. Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama QB - Los Angeles Chargers
Tua is a really good QB and I think with some rehab for him and with Tyrod Taylor or Easton Stick running and gunning at QB the Chargers will improve their QB status as a team.
7. Derrick Brown, Auburn DT - Carolina Panthers
Derrick Brown is an amazing DT, and aside from Kawann Short, the Panthers need some better DL. Brown had 4 sacks, 2 fumbles forced and 2 recovered. He also had 4 passes defended and 33 solo tackles. In my opinion he is the best DT in the draft. The Panthers also need a CB but that can wait for the Second Round.
8. Tristan Wirfs, Iowa OL - Arizona Cardinals
Tristan Wirfs is a really good OL and had a pretty fast 40 yard dash time for a OL in 4.85 and also had a fast 20 yard shuttle time with 4.68. The Cardinals have no harm in adding protection to Kyler Murray and with the acquisition of DeAndre Hopkins from the Texans the Cardinals have another great passing target besides Larry Fitzgerald.
9. Jedrick Wills Jr, Alabama OL - Jacksonville Jaguars
Jedrick Wills Jr. is a great OL and the perfect fit for the Jaguars who (besides Brandon Linder and Andrew Norwell) desperately need a better OL who can fit in at tackle. If you see the highlights on Wills Jr. he absolutely dominates the DE.
10. CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma WR - Cleveland Browns
CeeDee Lamb might just be the best WR in the draft, his only competition is Jeudy and Ruggs III. He had 1,327 receiving yards and 14 TDs in 62 catches as Oklahoma's and Jalen Hurts main receiver. And I think you might want to watch this…

11. Mehki Becton, Louisville OL - New York Jets
Mehki Becton is my favorite college OL but I didn't put him this high just on that. Becton is a really good OL and the Jets don't have very good protection for Sam Darnold and with Wills Jr. and Wirfs off the list, Becton is the Jets best choice if they're looking for an OL.
12. Henry Ruggs III, Alabama WR - Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders have pretty good receivers in Tyrell Williams, Zay Jones, and Nelson Agholor but Henry Ruggs III will be a good addition to their receiving corps. Even though Jerry Juedy is the better receiver, the Raiders should be looking for someone fast and with a combine best 4.27 40 yard dash, Ruggs is their man.
13. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama WR - San Francisco 49ers Via Indianapolis Colts
Having 1,163 receiving yards and 10 TDs, and with Ruggs and Lamb already taken, Jeudy is the best receiver around and I think the 49ers will save the DT for their 31st overall pick and Juedy will be a great receiver to add to a team that came so close to winning the Super Bowl last year. They might be able to win it this year with the help of Jeudy.
14. Andrew Thomas, Georgia OL - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Getting some protection for Tom Brady wouldn't be a bad idea and adding a better tackle to their rotation wouldn't be a bad idea either and if you watch this video, you will see just how good Thomas really is:

15. Joshua Jones, Houston OL - Denver Broncos
Adding a better player to their OL rotation and adding protection to Drew Lock won't be a bad idea and Joshua Jones is the guy for that job. He is very agile for a man his size (6-5, 319 lbs.), but needs to work on some things. I think the Packers should be interested in him but I have him going to Denver.
16. Javon Kinlaw, South Carolina DT - Atlanta Falcons
Javon Kinlaw is an amazing DT, and after Grady Jarrett they don't have very good DTs. With 6 sacks, 2 passes defended and 2 fumbles recovered he didn't have the best year but he is very versatile for his size (6-6 310 lbs.) and is one of the top DL in my book.
17. K´Lavon Chaisson, LSU LB - Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys will want him because they can put him at DE across from Demarcus Lawrence or at LB with Jaylon Smith and Leighton-Vander-Esch. He had 6.5 sacks and 34 solo tackles and 1 forced fumble. Leading the LSU defense along with Patrick Queen to a National Championship win was a privilege to him, and he should be a good player in the NFL.
18. Yetur-Gross-Matos, Penn St. EDGE - Miami Dolphins Via Steelers
Gross-Matos would be a good addition to Miami's defense at DE with stats such as 9.5 stats and 24 solo tackles. Miami doesn´t have very good defense after Kyle Van Noy, Byron Jones and Xavien Howard so Gross-Matos will be a good addition to their D-Line.
19. C.J. Henderson, Florida CB - Las Vegas Raiders Via Chicago Bears
If C.J. doesn´t get in the Raiders starting lineup he will be a great addition to their secondary and he is even a sack threat! He got 3 sacks and 2 interceptions with the Gators and is one of the top CBs in College Football. He also had a really fast 40 yard dash time of 4.39 seconds.
20. Justin Jefferson, LSU WR - Jacksonville Jaguars Via Los Angeles Rams
Jefferson will be a solid Jaguars acquirement to their receiving corps. Jefferson had 1,540 receiving yards and 18 TDs. He and Burrow were a clock at work, passes on time and having an average of 13.9 yards per catch. He also ran a fast 40 yard dash with a time of 4.43 seconds.
21. Tee Higgens, Clemson WR - Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have 2 good WRs in Desean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery but it would be nice to have 3 good WRs and I think they can do that by drafting Tee Higgens. Tee Higgens had 1,167 receiving yards and 13 TDs from Trevor Lawrence. He is a long and lanky WR at 6-4 215 and would be a good addition to the Eagles offense.
22. Jaylon Johnson, Utah CB - Minnesota Vikings Via Buffalo Bills
The Vikings could use a CB going into the 2020 season, will…The Chiefs air assault isn't going to stop itself! Jaylon Johnson is maybe the best cover corner in college football. He had 2 interceptions (1 was a Pick Six), and 11 passes defended. 34 of his 36 tackles were solo and he will be a great addition to any team's defense.
23. Jordan Love, Utah St. QB - New England Patriots
After losing Brady to free agency, and having only Brian Hoyer and Jared Stidham at QB, the Patriots should be looking to draft a QB. With Burrow, Tua and Herbert taken, Jordan Love is the best QB around. He threw for 3,402 yards and 20 TDs. He is also considered one of the top QBs next to Tua, Burrow and Herbert.
24. Patrick Queen, LSU LB - New Orleans Saints
Patrick Queen will be a good addition to the Saints and across from Demario Davis. Those two LBs could be a force to be reckoned with. Aside from K´Lavon Chaisson, Queen is probably the best LB in college football. He had 1 interception, 3 sacks, 1 fumble recovered and 2 passes defended.
25. Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona St. WR - Minnesota Vikings
I think Minnesota would be interested in Aiyuk because they need somebody besides Tajae Sharp to go across from Adam Thielen, who is a total beast. In the second round I think the Vikings might go for an OL. Aiyuk had 1,192 receiving yards, but had only 8 TDs and averaged 18.3 yards per catch.
26. Xavier Mckinney, Alabama S - Miami Dolphins Via Houston Texans
The Dolphins are stacked at CB, but not very good at S and I think Mckinney can help with that. He has 3 interceptions, and forced 4 fumbles and recovered 1. He also had 3 sacks and 59 solo tackles. Xavier Mckinney and Antoine Winfield Jr. are my top 2 safeties and trust me, Winfield is great, but he's not Mckinney.
27. Ross Blacklock, TCU DT - Seattle Seahawks
Although he didn't have a very good year (25 solo tackles and 3.5 sacks), Ross Blacklock is very agile for his size (6-3, 290 lbs.) and has high rankings in other mock drafts as well. Also you can check out his agility right here.

28. Zach Baun, Wisconsin LB - Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are weak at LB and with the acquisition of Calais Campbell from the Jaguars, and if they draft Zach Baun they will have 2 major defensive acquisitions. Zach Baun had 12.5 sacks, 1 interception and 2 forced fumbles. He definitely would've been higher if there weren't this many great players in the draft.
29. Cesar Ruiz, Michigan C - Tennessee Titans
The Titans (Except for Taylor Lewan and Roger Saffold) don´t have a very good OL. Cesar Ruiz is a very agile and aware man and if you watch some of his videos then you can see how aware he is. He is a great C and that is exactly what the Titans need. There is a great description in this video on how he plays aware.

30. Denzel Mims, Baylor WR - Green Bay Packers
The Packers need not just one deep ball threat in Davante Adams, but two in Adams and Mims. Denzel Mims has impressive size at 6-3, 215 lbs. and is an amazing route runner and has great hands and awareness for where he is. He had 1,020 receiving yards and 12 TDs with an average 15.5 yards per catch.
31. A.J. Epenesa, Iowa EDGE - San Francisco 49ers
A.J. Epenesa will be a good replacement for Deforest Buckner, who, if you didn't know, got traded to the Colts for the 13 overall draft pick. They are pretty stacked at DE, but Arik Armstead and Dee Ford can always move over to DT. Epenesa had 11.5 sacks, 4 fumbles forced and 3 passes defended.
32. Austin Jackson, USC OL - Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs are basically stacked at every position except OL and I think Austin Jackson can help with that. He is very strong and athletic and I think with a few adjustments here and there, Jackson could turn into a great O-Lineman. And adding protection to Mahomes isn't a bad idea either.
